Bournemouth No.1 Sewage Pumping Station is a very high profile site situated yards from one of the south coasts top beaches.
The top priority of this project was to maintain the pumping stations integrity throughout the construction phase.
Complex over pumping & power generation was required and was achieved by:
- Removal of 4 No. existing pumps, hard wired panel and storm raked screens
- Install new intelligent MCC and PLC.
- New HV transformer.
- 4 new 185kw electric submersible sewage pumps.
- New 9m long huber 6mm screen and returns auger.
- New 3 T gantry crane, new 2.5T ring lifting beam.
- New over pumping point to the existing rising main.
This was achieved without interuptions and the client was extremely pleased with the outcome.
